Ofsted
Ofsted stands for the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It is the organisation that inspects schools in England. Ofsted looks at the quality of education and the overall effectiveness of a school. They tend to visit schools every four years. Our school was inspected by Ofsted in September 2022, and was considered to be a "good" school with "outstanding" early years provision. You can read our report here.
SIAMS
SIAMS stands for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. They tend to visit schools every four years. SIAMS specifically considers how well our Christian vision and values are lived out, and whether they help every member of our school community to flourish. The focus is on whether the school's Christian character helps children to:
- flourish and achieve
- feel safe and valued
- develop positive relationships
- understand and respect people with different beliefs and backgrounds
- grow in confidence, character and wellbeing.
