Safeguarding
Our Commitment
Safeguarding is a term which is broader than ‘child protection’ and relates to the action taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Killinghall CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are committed to ensuring that consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to our support children, families and staff at school. All staff, volunteers and governors receive appropriate training, guidance and support to safeguard children effectively. Everyone who works with our children understands their responsibility to keep children safe and is confident in how to do so.
